What is Ayumi

With the concept of turning "can't" into "value", we operate a barrier-free information site and develop barrier-free support businesses for stores and accommodations. We also provide research, advice, and training as a second opinion on barrier-free and universal design from a neutral standpoint between companies and people with disabilities.

Can you confidently say that you and those around you will continue to live a healthy and disability-free life tomorrow?

If you were to suffer a disability due to an accident or illness and try to return to daily life, what would you do if you found yourself in a situation where "information is not available or accessible even after searching"?

My cousin suffered a spinal cord injury in an accident while working part-time at the age of 18 and now uses a wheelchair.

People with disabilities and their families often cannot find the information they need through Google / AI / Yahoo! searches, or they give up before finding it.

There is a challenge in that even when searching for information related to disabilities and barrier-free access, the desired information is not available or accessible.

As a result, people end up giving up on things they want to do or going out.

Ayumi's Activities

To solve these challenges, we launched a barrier-free information site and a barrier-free certification business simultaneously.

Barrier-Free Information Site

Barrier-Free Information Site

A barrier-free information site for people with disabilities and their families, operated with disabled web writers. We provide information that has not been available before to make life more enjoyable.

Barrier-Free Support Business for Stores and Facilities

Barrier-Free Support Business for Stores and Facilities

We conduct research, evaluation, and PR related to physical barrier-free and customer service for people with disabilities with the involvement of people with disabilities. It is a comprehensive support service for improving barrier-free measures in stores and enhancing the ability to accommodate diverse people, including those with disabilities.

Since starting the operation of the barrier-free information site, we have received feedback like this.

There is a lot of information that even we, people with disabilities and our families, want to know but cannot find, and I am sure there are people who are helped by it, so I want to express my gratitude! I look forward to your weekly updates🙂
You frequently share barrier-free information and system information related to daily life on Instagram and official LINE, and I really feel that you are truly supportive.

For me, the biggest hurdle to traveling was not knowing how to use the Shinkansen or airplanes. But after reading Ayumi's article, I found detailed information on how even beginners like me can use the Shinkansen, and it even included personal experiences, so I was able to successfully travel outside the prefecture😭
