Privacy Policy

General Incorporated Association Ayumi (hereinafter referred to as "the Association") establishes the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") regarding the handling of user information, including personal information, of users (hereinafter referred to as "Users") in the services provided by the Association (hereinafter referred to as "the Services"), and strives for appropriate handling and protection.

Article 1 (Definition of Personal Information)

In this Policy, personal information refers to personal information as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Personal Information Protection Act, that is, information about a living individual that can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth, or other descriptions contained in such information (including information that can be easily cross-referenced with other information to identify a specific individual), or information containing personal identification codes.

In this Policy, "User Information" refers to information related to user identification, behavior history on communication services, and other information generated or accumulated in relation to users or user devices, which the Association collects based on this Policy.

Article 3 (Purpose of Use)

(1) For measuring user traffic and behavior
(2) For banner display and effect measurement
(3) For guidance and responses to inquiries regarding the Services
(4) For responding to acts that violate the Association's terms, policies, etc., regarding the Services
(5) For notifying changes to terms, etc., regarding the Services

Article 4 (Change of Purpose of Use)

The Association shall change the purpose of use of personal information only when it is reasonably recognized that the purpose is related to the purpose before the change. If the purpose of use is changed, the Association shall notify Users of the changed purpose by the method prescribed by the Association or announce it on the Services.

Article 5 (Restriction on Use of Personal Information)

The Association shall not handle personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use without obtaining the consent of the User, except as permitted by the Personal Information Protection Act and other laws and regulations. However, this does not apply in the following cases:

(1) When based on laws and regulations
(2) When it is necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the User's consent
(3) When it is particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound development of children and it is difficult to obtain the User's consent
(4) When it is necessary to cooperate with a national institution, local public body, or a person entrusted by them in executing the affairs prescribed by laws and regulations

Article 6 (Proper Acquisition of Personal Information)

The Association shall properly acquire personal information and shall not acquire it by deception or other wrongful means.

Article 7 (Safety Management of Personal Information)

The Association shall supervise its employees as necessary and appropriate to ensure the safe management of personal information against risks such as loss, destruction, alteration, and leakage.

Article 8 (Provision to Third Parties)

The Association shall not provide personal information among User Information to third parties without obtaining the prior consent of the User, except in the following cases:

(1) When the Association entrusts all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use
(2) When personal information is provided due to business succession by merger or other reasons
(3) When it is necessary to cooperate with a national institution, local public body, or a person entrusted by them in executing the affairs prescribed by laws and regulations
(4) Other cases permitted by the Personal Information Protection Act and other laws and regulations

Article 9 (Joint Use)

The Association shall jointly use Users' personal information as follows.

Article 10 (Disclosure of Personal Information)

When requested by a User to disclose personal information based on the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act, the Association shall confirm that the request is from the User themselves and disclose it to the User without delay.

Article 11 (Correction and Suspension of Use of Personal Information)

(1) When requested by a User to correct or suspend the use of personal information, the Association shall conduct necessary investigations without delay and, based on the results, correct or suspend the use of personal information and notify the User of this.

(2) When requested by a User to delete personal information, if the Association determines that it is necessary to respond to the request, the Association shall delete the personal information and notify the User of this.

Article 13 (Changes to the Privacy Policy)

The contents of this Policy may be changed without notifying Users, except for matters otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations or this Policy.

Article 14 (Procedure for Changes to the Privacy Policy)

The Association shall change this Policy as necessary. When changing this Policy, the Association shall inform Users of the effective date and content of the changed Policy by displaying it on the Association's website or by other appropriate methods.
